Luv Tapp
Privacy Policy
Effective September 22, 2026
Luv Tapp is a private, account-based relationship assistant. This policy explains the information processed to provide the app and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
- Account information: email address, optional name, password material stored only as a server-side hash, and one-time verification or password-reset codes stored only as hashes.
- Relationship content: partner names, birthdays, relationship status, important dates, preferences, hobbies, dietary restrictions, religious-belief fields, assessment answers, saved ideas, scheduled notes, and related text you choose to enter.
- Coach and commerce content: AI coach messages, searches, service-listing text, external-link selections, and purchase or transaction history.
- If you report an AI response, that response is shared with authorized Luv Tapp administrators for safety review. Reports are removed when you delete your account.
Information from your device
- Account and session identifiers are sent to our backend to authenticate requests and maintain your account. A session token is stored in the device's secure storage so you can stay signed in.
- The included Stripe SDK processes device and installation identifiers and device characteristics for fraud prevention and security. Stripe handles this technical information under its privacy policy; it is not used for advertising.
- If you choose to add a scheduled moment to your device calendar, Luv Tapp requests calendar permission and stores the resulting event identifier. It does not export your calendar.
- Luv Tapp does not request device location, contacts, camera, photo-library, health, advertising-ID, or push-token access in this release.
How information is used
- To authenticate your account, send verification or reset email, and maintain sessions.
- To store your private partner profiles, assessments, ideas, schedules, coach conversations, and account settings.
- To generate suggestions and supportive coach responses. The coach is informational guidance, not therapy or medical advice.
- To open third-party event, restaurant, gift, map, or delivery pages you choose. Those providers handle their own pages, purchases, refunds, and policies.
Service providers
- Convex hosts the production database, server functions, and these public policy pages.
- Resend delivers account verification and password-reset email when configured.
- OpenAI receives the prompt and selected relationship context needed to generate suggestions or coach responses.
- Ticketmaster and Google Places may receive search text and an optional city for discovery. External Amazon, Ticketmaster, Google Maps, and DoorDash pages receive requests only after you choose to open them.
- Stripe payment processing is disabled in this release. No subscription, trial, digital purchase, or restore-purchases flow is offered.
Sharing and visibility
Partner profiles, assessments, coach conversations, and service listings are scoped to your account. Luv Tapp does not provide a public service-listing feed or cross-user messaging in this release.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and content data while your account is active. You can delete your account in Account settings; deletion removes your account and associated private content according to the production deletion flow. Some security or delivery records may be retained when required to prevent abuse or comply with law.
Children
Luv Tapp is not directed to children. Do not create an account unless you are legally able to agree to the Terms of Use or have a parent or guardian's permission where required.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
